ABOUT
SKR is a kart racing club organizing cool and one-of-a-kind races both for local and international teams.
CHALLENGE
The challenge was to design a bold logo and identity for one of the club's teams. The logo would be displayed on the kart, the driver's helmet and the karting suit, so it had to be eye-catching and really cool. The logo also had to be typical to the motorsports sports field, thus we had to thoroughly research the sphere and come up with a fresh and bold concept.
SOLUTION
SKR — southern kart racing
We developed a distinctive style with the right mix of savoir-faire and audacity that would help the team truly stand out. After a thorough research of the motorsports, we designed a logo that is clear and flamboyant enough to be placed on surfaces of different sizes and yet retain its readability. For the identity we picked red and blue colors - a dynamic combination that is contrasting and vivid. Red is a color closely linked to records and exclusiveness. It's a color that expresses an always-burning passion for racing and winning. Meanwhile blue symoolizes freedom and confidence and is the best contrasting color to red.

For the helmet design we used geometric shapes to create a balanced look and highlight the notion of speed and motion.
